Gränser Ramsor (Spelling Borders) is a group show curated by Patrik Haggren and Daniel Terres for Havremagasinet länskonsthall Art in Boden, Sweden.
Gränser Ramsor (Borders, frames) is an exhibition of the aesthetic conditions of the globalized urbanity and the nation state. From the million programme in Gothenburg to Boden’s military zones, from the migrant worker’s quarter in Paris to a pan-African collective farming in West Africa, the artworks present different compositions of memories and sensibilities, personal and collective experiences. Borders stand for society’s conflict lines, the contours of possible communities, times and geographies that intersect our spiritual and material lives. Ramsor stands for cramps and slogans, constant recall of language and memories.
With Meira Ahmemulić, Alina Chaiderov, Raphaël Grisey & Bouba Touré, The Lapin King, Hanni Kamaly, Enver Ramirez
