To be at home before being at home

Part 2: Video 16 min,  stereo 16/9 – DV  – 2005

The second part was realised in cooperation with members of the 'Femmes de Trappes et d’ailleurs' group. The association provides a learning place for female immigrants who do not yet speak French. The camera enters the group as a foreign body. The editing plays with the synchronisation and desynchronisation of sound and image and with the interfaces between translations, cultures and genders.
